Η Ρωσία κατά Σούνακ για τα Γλυπτά του Παρθενώνα! Η Ζαχάροβα μίλησε για ληστεία.
- EDITOR’S NOTE (Nick Stamatakis) Despite the anti-Russian position of the Mitsotakis government on Ukraine (Even Israel – that takes at least $3.5 Billion/yr in American FREE aid !!- took a friendlier stance!!) Russia’s Foreign Ministry’s spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, made a powerful statement today, speaking openly about robbery and illegality! Russia has recently very openly attacked all the remaining signs of colonialism in order to achieve a united front of the “Global South” against the West. Already, France is kicked out of Africa, which signals the decline of the Western powers. Russia and Greece were never colonial powers. The small country of Portugal did not resist the temptation and established colonies in South America (Brazil), Africa (Angola, Mozambique), and Asia (several trade ports, with Macao being the most significant). For us, the Hellenes, the whole world was home as long as we could navigate and trade with everyone. We never felt the need to suppress any native people. Why? Because we genuinely believed in FREEDOM for ourselves and all people!
Russia signals that she ignores the Mitsotakis government and considers it as a small interval to an era of friendlier relationships. There is a special place for Greece among the Russian people and their leaders, and this is not going to change because of the minuscule presence of incompetent elites like Mitsotakis. Above all, the Russian leaders appreciate history and the deep ties that connect the two countries. They know that Mitsotakis does not represent but a small minority of the Greek people. The shipowners were the true representatives of the Greek interests – and Russia appreciated their help over the last few years.
The actual Greek interests have been unchanged through five millennia, from the almost mythical Minoan times to Odysseus to the Greek colonization of the Black Sea (- but don’t confuse this colonization with western colonialism) and much of today’s Ukraine (1,000 years BC!!), to Alexander the Great, to Byzantium, to the Greek Revolution and finally to Onassis: Open free roads to all humanity, respect, and freedom for all people and no oppression or exploitation!! Greek navigation best expresses these ideals of Hellenic cosmopolitanism.
If the West is to survive, it must return to its Hellenic Cosmopolitan civilizational roots and re-adopt them. Hegemony/domination/oppression has no place in Hellenic cosmopolitanism…
